What’s the best piece of advice you would give to someone who’s expecting their first baby?

Of course at Real Nappies for London we would say find out about real nappies before the birth and get at least a trial kit to try them out. But next, because you matter - greatly - we would suggest you invite someone to bring you a meal to your home after baby is born. Arrange it in advance for a friend, neighbour or relative to pop by with a large pot of soup or a big bowl of pasta salad or similar. It might sound like a big ask but if someone asked you to do it wouldn’t you be happy to help? It can be difficult to find the time to look after yourself in the first days back home with a new baby and having a healthy, home-cooked meal in the fridge ready for when you need it can be a real life-saver.

What do you think is the main thing to set up during pregnancy to help new parents have a healthy, happy time when they arrive home with their new baby?
